Time Away is an online journey into Australia's wilderness

Expect this on your Intel powered computer soon

There seems to be a disturbing trend, which at this time seems to be the work of one individual who will remain nameless (for the sake of avoiding to glorify his silly attempts at self-pleasure).

At times I see things on other websites and with iServ being a news and current affairs website, it's owner surely deserves the right to form an opinion on what he sees and then choose whether to make that opinion public or not. After all, Australia is a democracy and iServ is an Australian website located on an Australian server.

Now... this disturbance in the force comes by way of someone who regards his own site as substantial competition for iServ. I am not necessarily of the same point of view, though to each his own. The childishness comes from this person saying to other people "someone's bagging you/your site - check this out: [insert URL here]" signed, your friend, by the way, wanna swap links? blah blah blah.

I don't have a problem with people asking me to elaborate on statements I make, infact I encourage it where it happens to suit someone they are quite welcome to offer their point of view and unlike this certain person I am speaking about, I am not afraid of being criticised for something I have said and with very few exceptions I do not edit any input given by others here, whereas this person edits usernames, comments, the lot - just to suit himself. Work it out - he needs some therapy, starting with some fresh air, time off work, a nice long bushwalk (I do alot of bushwalking so I can recommend it to anyone glued to their computer), maybe just sitting on his balcony sipping a cup of tea or a stiff bourbon. While on the subject of bushwalking, I do have some unfinished business in Mt Bogong, VIC, and will return there in the next few months to complete the ascent to the top, as a warm up for a spring hike to the top of Mt Kosciusko, NSW, Australia's highest mountain.

In finishing, the right wing conservative nature that iServ is renowned for is not going to change. iServ will continue to be one of the websites that keeps balance in the force to help provide the World Wide Web with some respite from The Left, God willing.
